Sasuke's only reply was a small shake of the head, and he glanced uncomfortably at the wooden floor. He felt himself stumble forwards as Komori nudged him. If he had fox ears, they would have laid flat against his head. "To...Tohiru?" Sasuke paused.
"Alright, Sasuke says sorry for being a jerk even though he wasnt really, and that you should forgive and forget and live happily ever after THE END." Twilight rolled his eyes.
"TWILIGHT!" Sasuke and Komori yelled.
Twilight flattened his ears in annoyance. "What?!"

Tohiru laughed half-heartily, "Thanks, Twilight." Smiling weakly she ruffled his fur a bit, seeing his foul reaction she pulled back and sighed. "Hey, I'll just stay here for a while, go and have fun." She quickly covered the dusty old wooden picture frame and snuck it under her bed covers. "Really, I'll be fine."

"Come on," Kamuchi cooed gingerly extending a hand to Tohiru, "Let's go, we can go to the movies or something."
At first Tohiru stared at her hand, a strange feeling it was, taking her hand she nodded hesitantly, "O-okay..."
Suddenly they saw a crow fly by with Tsunade's charka attached to it. "We're needed!" Kamuchi said swiftly grabbing Tohiru in one hand and Komori in the other, dragging them towards the Hokage's office.
Kiba and Nika saw the crow as well, rising to their feet they too, darted towards the office, before Tsunade could kill them with her mighty fist.

Tsunade growled deeply, "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?!" Calming down a bit the scowl was still spread across her face. "Yes, you do fact have a mission, you must journey to the Land of Grain, there you will meet up with Kuseiki, he will explain the rest of the mission, and... GET THAT PUP AND KITTEN OUT OF MY OFFICE NO PETS IN THE BUILDING!"

Tsunade smirked lightly, "You will find out Sasuke, a little too anxious there." Turning to Twilight she added, "Heh, that's what you think shorty NOW GET OUT BEFORE I KICK YOU OUT!!"
Aside from her better judgement Nika asked, "Well then why do you gotta pigglet in here?"
"TONTON IS NOT JUST A PIG! LEAVE AT ONCE!!" She tapped her finger on the desk impaitently causing the desk to crack and shatter into little shards.
"Tsunade-sama! That's the fifth one this week!" Shizune called trying to calm her sensei down.

"Soo...Anyone know who this Kuseiki person is?" Komori asked as they walker to Grain Country.
Sasuke pointed at a boy in a black cloak standing in the path. The boy looked to be about seventeen or so, and his cloak had a hood that shadowed his fiery amber eyes. He had a chain wrapped around his left arm and his black shuriken holster was on his right side. From a distance, he appeared to have jet black hair tied up in the back. (Sorta like Neji but...er...different...) he looked at the group with a hard, piercing gaze.

"Konoha Shinobi, follow me, we will journey to a safer location," he greeted blankly while leading them towards a small hut. "A ghost roams about, it takes innocent villagers... then they are never to be found again. Your mission is to get rid of this ghost."
Kamuchi scoffed, "Ghosts?"
"They ARE real," he said narrowing his eyes.
"Oh believe me! I know full well that they're real, it's just that normal humans can't see them."
Kiba smirked, "I know that's right... she's a little more on the weirdo side."

Twilight raised an eyebrow. "How the hell do get rid off something you can't touch, and you can't kill?"
Komori sighed. "Ghosts. Grreeaatt..." she muttered, hating this mission already.
Sasuke got right to the point. "How many have died?" he recieved a hard smack on the head from Komori.
"Idiot," she seethed. "I don't need to freak out anymore than I already am!"

"They're probably just ninjas," Kamuchi pointed out, "normal humans can't see ghosts, at least not without the Ryuugan."
"So far 12," Kuseiki answered with a trace of anger, "Konoha shinobi, we hope you can rid of this ghost."
Nika shuddered, "Ugh, if ghosts were real my grandma would still be haunting me..."
Kamuchi chuckled, "She says to shut up."

"Sooo...when do we go on this little 'ghost hunt'?" Komori asked, relieved their werent any real ghosts involved. She hated ghosts. Demons and things like that were okay with her, but ghosts and skeletons? No. One reason why she almost always loses when sparring against Kamuchi. She shuddered, remembering all those times they faught against eachother.

Kuseiki answered with a, "Now." The clock struck midnight, in a blink lighting struck as he vanished into the dark night. Activating Ryuugan Kamuchi backed up into Nika and Kiba as she gaped at the sight, "There... are... so many of them." Looking back towards the stop Kuseiki she found he was no longer there, "Just... how many people... died here...?"
Nika and Kiba caught Kamuchi gently as she fell, pushing her back upright, "...Ghosts?"

Komori edged closer to Twilight. "Ghosts? Where are they?" she asked, alarmed. Suddenly, some sort of transparent skeletal figure flew in front of her. "HOLYMOTHERFREAKINGHELL!!" she yelped and jumped back behind Twilight. Sasuke, on the other hand, stepped back into a fighting stance. Komori heard him utter the word "coward" under his breath, and she glared at him. Her anger swiftly dissolved into terror as the ghost...thing hovered in front of them.

Kamuchi stared at the ghost they were all looking at, however, she saw the skeletal figure in a different form. A boy, a very little boy, with a serious Gaara-like expression printed upon his face. "Who are you?" she asked.
The little boy turned to her without the others hearing it said monotonously, "Scarred hearts, broken promises, scattered memories..." Kamuchi studied the him closely. "Why is the world so full of these things?" he continued solemnly.
To Kiba and Nika the skeleton had just turned towards Kamuchi, it's jaw moving up and down.
